I have been fortunate to play golf at a few courses across the United States. My description gives a
short view from an average week end golfer who enjoys the game. All golf courses have something
in their favor, whether it is course, scenery, rating of the course, or the recognition given by the golf
community. Links are provided to courses who maintain a web site for additional information. I do
not benefit (monetary gain) from these links. The Courses I have played to date are located in
Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, South Dakota, Virginia and West
Virginia. Just click on the state and it will take you to those courses in that State. This is a work in
progress, so check back as I update the courses with descriptions and add additional courses.
When calling to make a tee time, ask the following questions to make your round of golf more
enjoyable.
• Are you cart path only?
• What are the conditions of the greens?
• Have the greens been aerated lately?
• When do you plan to over seed the course?
• How long does the average round of golf take?
Unless you are under a 14 handicap, play from the members tees. This is usually designated white.
You will build confidence in your game and enjoy the round even more.
