Golf Specifications for a Zoomie Driving Mat

The following are golf specifications for a practice hitting mat with a natural green alignment pattern of 4.25
+/- inches, on a realistic hitting surface.  Three alignment spots 1.68 inches in diameter are centered along
the path of every other alignment stripe where the golfer is intending to hit his golf ball.  The location of
these points provides the feedback that a golfer requires to align and build confidence in their swing, from
take away to follow through.  The alignment spots also provide the golfer with the age old positioning of the
ball two inches inside your leading heal of your foot.  The alignment stripes also provide the golfer with a
measure of confidence in aligning their stance, from square to open or closed.  Composition of the mat
consists of an indoor / outdoor carpet pile with a cushion pad, and a surface design that projects the swing
path to the golfer.

Golf is a game of confidence and perceptions.  The mowing of most fairways leaves an alignment pattern,
which golfers should utilize in aligning their golf shot, similar to this hitting mat’s surface design.  The
pattern shown on this hitting mat is based on the 4.25 inch diameter of a golf hole.  This projection provides
an alignment path along which the golfers can judge the swing of their golf club, and how they have struck
the ball towards the golf hole.

The perceptual design of this natural practice hitting mat will teach the fundamentals of set up, stance,
alignment, picking a sighting point between the hole and the golf ball,  taking the golf club back along a line
of the intended path and following through along that same line.  All of these teachings are the basis for
improving ones golf swing.

After the completion of the golf swing the golfer will receive instant feed back on whether they have
properly struck the golf ball.  Practice hitting on this natural design mat will build the confidence to improve
ones game without the use of artificial teaching aids.

Golf Specifications for a Zoomie One Putt Putting Mat

The following are golf specifications for a practice putting mat with a natural green alignment pattern of 4.25
+/- inches, on a realistic putting surface, leading to a 4.25 inch diameter regulation size golf hole.  The distal
end of the putting mat is located 18 inches from the center of the golf cup.  Alignment spots 1.68 inches in
diameter are located at the point of the putt, starting 6 inches from the proximal end, and reoccurring every
24 inches until you reach a point 24 inches from the center of the golf hole.  The location of these points
provides the feedback that a golfer requires to align and build confidence in their putts.  These points also
provide the golfer with a measure of confidence for certain distance puts.  Composition of the mat consists
of an indoor / outdoor carpet pile with a vinyl pad, a wedge shaped incline, a conventional golf cup, and a
surface design that projects the golf hole to the golfer.

Golf is a game of confidence and perceptions.  A putt of 6 feet is made only 50% of the time on straight and
level putts.  The odds of making a putt outside of 10 feet are very small.  Upon reaching a green most
golfers let the size of the golf hole become a dot in a sea of green.  The mowing of most greens leaves an
alignment pattern, which golfers should utilize in hitting putts, similar to this putting mat’s surface design.
The pattern shown on this putting mat is based on the 4.25 +/- inch diameter of a golf hole.  This alignment
pattern lets the golf hole project its 2-1/2 larger size (as compared to a golf ball) to where the golf ball is
being struck.  This projection provides an alignment path along which the golfer can judge the swing of
their putter and how they have struck the ball towards the golf hole.

The perceptual design of this natural practice putting mat will teach the fundamentals of set up, stance,
alignment, picking a sighting point between the hole and the golf ball,  taking the putter back along a line of
the intended path of putt, and following through along that same line.  All of these teachings are the basis
for improving ones putting stroke.

After the putt is struck the golfer will receive instant feed back on whether they have properly struck the
putt.  Practice putting on this natural design mat will build the confidence to improve ones game without the
use of artificial teaching aids.
